But wait, where does the name "Rukado" come from?

I created this nickname based on the anime Sword Art Online. The protagonist's real name is Kirigaya Kazuto, and he builds his nickname by taking the beginning of his surname and the end of his first name. Specifically, the first two syllables of the surname and the last syllable of the first name.

Kirigaya Kazuto → Kirito

In Japanese, the surname comes first, so the same cut applied to a name in Western order takes the beginning of the first name and the end of the surname. For "Lucas de Andrade," it didn't work: "Lucasde" and "Lucade" don't sound good at all. So I converted my name into Japanese first, where it becomes Rūkasu Andōrade.

Rūkasu Andōrade → Rukade

I didn't like the result "Rukade," so I just swapped the vowel for an "o," giving:

Rūkasu Andōrado → Rukado

If the surname had come first, it would've been something like "Andosu." I didn't think that sounded good at the time, so I went with Rukado! Finally, this is the nickname I've been using since 2013, and I thought it'd be interesting to use it as my domain too!
